NabNod respects copyright and is committed to responding to claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and any other applicable copyright laws.

Notice of Infringement – Claim:

Copyright owners or their representatives may submit a notice of copyright infringement to NabNod by providing the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and sufficient information for NabNod to locate the material.
  4. Contact information of the complainant, including name, physical address, email address, phone number, and fax number.
  5. A statement that the complainant has a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its representative, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complainant is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material:

If material has been removed in response to a copyright infringement notification and the user believes that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, the user may submit a counter-notification to NabNod.

The counter-notification must include the following:

  1. The user’s physical or electronic signature.
  2. A description of the removed material and the original location of the material before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the user has a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. The user’s name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the user’s address (or any federal district court where NabNod may be found).

Counter-notifications should be sent to NabNod’s DMCA agent at the provided email address.

Repeat Infringer Policy:

NabNod takes copyright infringement very seriously and reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
